Welcome to the World Ocean School. Based aboard the historic schooner Roseway, we use a floating classroom to teach a rock-solid, resource-rich program to adults and youth alike.

Hands-on adventure and lessons for a lifetime. They’re here. Under sail, at anchor, or on the dock. We’re there, providing access to one of America’s treasures, the National Historic Landmark schooner Roseway.

Whether unfurling a sail or opening a mind, the key is teamwork, a value just as vital on shore as at sea. It’s a value the World Ocean School embraces, opening their doors and decks to adults and students from all walks of life, sharing knowledge, sparking curiosity, and building a stronger community along the way.
