Meet The Team
Kara Baird
Kara is from Richmond, Virginia. She found her passion for sailing tall ships as a high school student aboard Roseway. Since that experience, she has sailed aboard AJ Meerwald, Pride of Baltimore II, Corwith Cramer, and Clearwater. When she is not on ships, Kara is studying for a degree in Environmental Science. Outside of sailing, Kara likes mountain/road biking, exploring antique stores, and rock climbing. Kara is excited to join World Ocean School to help students learn to sail and learn more about themselves in the process.
