Maeve Merkle-Scotland
Maeve is originally from Connecticut, where she grew up sailing on the Long Island Sound.
Maeve studied Social Work and Art at the University of Maine during undergrad. Through many campus outdoor leadership opportunities, she developed an adoration for the Maine geography of woody mountains and abundant rocky coastline.
Through this time she spent the past two summers working for Outward Bound as a sailing instructor, where she has been passionate about outdoor education since.
In her free time, Maeve loves to spend time outdoors and work on random arts and crafts projects.
