Meet The Team
Ben Heath
Raised on the coast of Maine, Ben has never been far from outdoor adventure. He has learned to love the summer heat while canoeing down rivers as much as the winter cold while snowshoeing through blizzards. He is now taking his experience to sea thanks to the World Ocean School.
Ben has spent most of his 20's training and teaching a peaceful, nature-based martial art, working in kitchens, and taking college classes.
Experiential education programs have profoundly impacted Ben, inspiring him to be a lifelong learner and compassionate teacher.
While he will return to school in the fall to complete his liberal studies degree (with an education minor), there is no place he would rather work this summer than with Roseway's crew of deckhand educators!
