Meet The Team
Jordan Edwards
Native to Rhode Island, Jordan has grown up in and around the sea. From very early on in his life, he has always been drawn the ocean. Whether it be scouring the rocks for sea glass and shells to turn into wampum jewelry, bodysurfing before class/work, or free diving in search of what he calls “real fast food.” Naturally, this love for the outdoors led him to train as a lifeguard
where he has since been working professionally, spending the summers as Captain of a Surf Rescue Team. He attended the University of Rhode Island where he spent time studying Aquaculture & Fisheries Biology in addition to Film and Economics. His proclivity for volunteer positions and service projects harkens back to his time spent in the Boy Scouts. There, he grew up surrounded by countless food drives, soup banquets and charitable fundraisers for his local community. He later went on to become an Eagle Scout, a rank only 1% of all Scouts achieve. Juxtaposed to the ocean, his time amongst the woods and mountains (white water rafting, or climbing up into trees to peek inside of a hawk’s eyrie) instilled a deep respect for nature within him and was the only classroom that felt natural to him. He hopes to act as a role model and inspire passion for the outdoors amongst others just as so many have done for him. He can be found fly fishing, kayaking, competing in ultra-marathons, long distance cycling, spearfishing, or climbing. He also makes a mean eggs Benedict.
