Nona Hunter
Originally from landlocked Ohio, Nona formed an unexpected love for the ocean and boating. She first learned to sail on a sunfish on a pond during her summer vacation in Massachusetts. While getting her degree in Environmental Studies at Connecticut College she took a semester at the Williams-Mystic Program. Here she spent time offshore on the Corwith Cramer and learned wooden boat maintenance at the Mystic Seaport. These experiences grew her passion for tall ships and outdoor education. She is incredibly happy to join World Ocean School as their new program manager.
