2017

Founding Executive Director Abby Kidder passes the torch onto our current Executive Director, Eden Leonard. Following the devastation of the hurricanes in the Virgin Islands throughout this year, Eden makes the push to bring Roseway back to the Virgin Islands for high-impact student programming on St. Croix. Crew aboard Roseway acquired and transported relief supplies, as well as helped serve Thanksgiving meals to hundreds still without power. 2017 brought 292 St. Croix students aboard Roseway for educational programming.

This year also marks the inception of our partnership with Notre Dame AmeriCorps, as World Ocean School welcomes X number of AmeriCorps members aboard Roseway for a full year of service on the vessel.
