To start the day, we woke up at 7:20 and began to haul up the anchor. As we worked we sang many sea shanties. By the time we were finished, breakfast was ready: Breakfast tacos! then chores began, C watch cleaned the bathrooms and floors of the ship (The bowls and soles)
Today was a very special day, becuase we got to sail all day, the ships engines played no part in propelling us twards our destination the Isle of Sholes. As ship rotations began, we were greeted with a loveley suprise, a small pod of dolphins!
C watch began at R&R (Rest and Relaxaion) The group enjoyed reading, drawing, and games. After they traveled to a lesson about sea poetry as they constructed their own poems. Active watch was the last of the rotations. The ambassadors of C watch learned how to steer the ship, navigate lobster pots, and lead a boat check.
Tuna melts and salad was the meal for lunch on board. Everyone enjoyed nice conversations filled with stories and jokes. Afternoon chores began immediatley after. C watch washed all the lunch dishes, and cleaned up the kitchen abord.
the rest of the day was filled with swimming, sailing, and even a practice man overboard drill.
In summary the day was great, and there was so much laughter and joy abord our ship.
