Sara:

We started the day bright and early with lots of chores to do. My group started by cleaning the head with our communal bathroom that we clean twice a day in order to keep our shared space. After that we got ready to travel to Great Misery Island by hauling the anchor and setting the sails. We did many things on the way to Great Misery like have lunch. Once we arrived on the Island we took a short hike to see some ruins and go to the beach. Although I personally think the water was freezing, many people splashed around in the water and took in the sun. After a relaxing day in Great Misery, we headed back to our ship, took a communal shower, and had dinner.

Bayli:

I was already half awake when we were all woken up for the day. I had had the last watch so the sun kept me conscious, but I was still able to rest. Raizel was the one who woke up with a soft whisper, telling us the time and how long we had to prepare. I rested my eyes for five more minutes, then got ready for the day ahead of me. We started with daily chores. My group and I were assigned to clean the head (the bathroom). I was feeling really seasick, so I probably wasn’t much help, but I tried my best. Afterwards, we ate breakfast. Breakfast was pancakes, either ones with chocolate chips or strawberries. You had the choice of nutella, peanut butter, and/or syrup to put on your pancakes. They were delicious. After breakfast, we began getting our sails ready to head to Misery Island, a very nice island in which the name does not suit. Again, I was seasick so I sat and drank water. Eating salad for lunch helped a lot. We headed to Misery Island. I took a wonderful beach nap. We headed back and had a very cold shower. After was dinner. It was spaghetti and it was very good. I miss my family and friends but I’ve been having so much fun that I haven’t had time to be homesick.

Oneyka:

My day started with Raezel waking me up. Next, I got ready and went to the mid-ship, then we hauled in the anchor because we were going to MISERY ISLAND!!! Next we had pancakes for breakfast and I ate chocolate pancakes. After cleaning everyone did a bunch of chores , then we started rotations. Rotations are just us learning a bunch of new skills, like different types of knots, line handling and boat check. Next we ate rice, salad and broccoli cheddar soup. The cleanup was right after that. We then arrived at Misery Island for a fun time. Dinner was pasta.

Gwen:

Hello everyone!

I think I would say that this experience has been one of the most fun adventures I’ve ever had yet! From the flight to Boston to shrugging the soles, my time has been filled with non-stop excitement. The thing I’m most ready to learn is experienced knots and sail names!

My favorite activity so far has been Anchor watches!

Much thanks to everyone's help and contribution,

Gwen! PS:Sending my love to family back home!
