Winter Ambassador Voyage: Day 1

Dec 27, 2025:

Today we got introductions done, went through safety and did a tour of the boat. We also got the rest of the crew here on the boat. The sunset was so pretty today, went swimming, had good food. We also covered some bunks stuff, and started to do chores, learned how to do dishes (as if we’ve never done them before). Even though it wasn’t much, we sailed just a wee bit today. We didn’t do much today, but we all clicked together pretty quickly. Me(Amelia), Alexander, and Mycal found out we all have the same picks which was pretty cool. Alex got to ring the bell for seconds (and of course got first dibs as he should). We saw a turtle, and it was pretty particular (we’ve just now named him Perry the Particular Turtle). And I’ve adopted the nickname Melatonin because my name is too hard to pronounce for these MORTALS. There were a few students that didn’t make it (their flights were cancelled due to snow)👍They were a bunch of courageous lads till the vikings got em. We’re gonna have our own twist to an Eminem song: Our palms are sweaty, stomach weak, anchors heavy, we’re jumping off the boat already, chefs spaghetti. 😎 Anyways we’ve titled it Loose yourself at sea. Tonight we are starting anchor watch, AND STEALING THE MOONNNNNNNNN. “Moon so shiny, I could throw a dish at it.” -Alex. Boat rock, hunger staved, scurvy aboard, send lotion pls, food gud, fish meh, water salty, soap soap, asta la vista babyyyyy 🤙It’s the final countdown DU DU DUN DUNNNNNN!!! Outro question: The trip was good, ja? INDUBIDABLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, COWABUNGAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
