Williams-Mystic Day 2

October 5, 2026

it is 4am and i am very tired. We are currently on dock watch in Manhattan, and it is day 3 of being here. We are going into the city tmrw and doing cool school stuff before we depart in the evening. I'm feeling pretty rough after yesterday. But also my watch group is great to shout out watch group B. That's all and I can't wait to be on land. So ends this day even tho it just started

Shout out watch group B! The journey is coming along… the crew has been so thoughtful and kind to us. I enjoyed climbing aloft today, and eating dinner in NYC. I won second place in the gumby suit challenge, and then had a moment putting it back up into my bunk. Watch has been good though, and I am excited for tomorrow!

We saw the constellation Orion! What a neat finding. I feel like I am getting more accustomed to the Denis Sullivan after a bit of a rocky start. Less seasickness, and more things I'm learning from our team - halyards, steering, tidiness on deck, encouragement.

When we got off the boar yesterday, it felt like the ground was moving. It's crazy how that happened only one day into being on a boat. Anyways, I am having fun, and alarm just went off though, so gotta run.
