Ashley Hall (Day 8)
April 8, 2026
Hi everyone, this is A watch reporting live from our 2000 to 0000 shift today we started the day at 0000 for watch. We did bowls while trying not to wake the main hold. It was more extreme than past night but there were so many stars and constellations that it was worth it. Over the past two watches we have received terrible weather that magically clears up when the next watch arrives. This morning we tried tuna and did a great job cleaning up. Ari and London went aloft during our shift, roughly 55 feet in the air. We also had our periods of license where our group has a different costume. Ours was America and we all dressed up as American characters like Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty. We then proudly sung the national anthem. Everybody did a lot of journally. We were motivated by Dr. Davis's speech about our fleeting memories on OLP. A watch is completing squatical miles which is one squat per nautical mile and we have reached 200 collectively today. We are currently on watch until midnight, enjoying our last couple days. We are still expecting to make adventure in our next couple days so if you see rain or thunder you can always count on A watch to be there. Signing off for the night, goodbye.
