Ashley Hall (Day 12)

April 12, 2026

Today was a long day, we started out with our 0000-0400 watch. Our second watch was 1200-1600 but the schooner olympics took most up of the time, leaving little time for any work to be done. Spoiler alert, we won after our immense knot training, taking place during the midst our our watches. We got winner lollipops, making all of our hard work feel paid off. Soon after we had nachos for dinner for dinner and after this we had our talent show where B-watch performed our song “Good Ole Boys” - Macklemore + Kesha - and of course hit every note. We ended the night with brownies for midrats and soaking up every moment of our last watch. We saw dolphins swimming in the bioluminescence which was by far the coolest we’ve ever seen. While we all long for a hot shower and the comfort of our own beds, we have come to realize that we are really going to miss this so much. B watch signing off for good. It’s been an amazing trip we will always remember.
