Come walk the plank of our 137’ wooden schooner Denis Sullivan and jump into Boston Harbor* in support of World Ocean School!
This is the most exciting fundraising event in Boston - and you can be part of it! All funds raised support innovative education for Boston public school students aboard our tall ship.
Since our founding in 2002, more than 23,000 students have participated in our programs. Help us continue to bring life-changing education to local students and WALK THE PLANK!
*All jumpers must raise a minimum of $500 to participate in this event.

Come experience Boston’s most exciting fundraising event! Grab your costume, your bathing suit, your business suit, or any outfit you can dream up and WALK THE PLANK* of schooner Denis Sullivan in support of World Ocean School!
As part of your plank walk, you’ll invite family and friends to support you with a tax-deductible contribution in honor of your jump! Your supporters will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket to join the party on the deck of Denis Sullivan or to watch and cheer for you on the harborwalk as you take the plunge into Boston Harbor. There is no charge to watch Walk the Plank from the harborwalk, so everyone can join the fun!

WALK THE PLANK PARTY
Tickets are available for spectators who want to enjoy the event aboard the vessel. Your ticket includes open bar, a raffle, music from Gracie Grace & All The Good Boys, and light bites including tacos from Rosa Mexicano on Denis Sullivan - and of course an up-close view of the plank walk! All proceeds benefit World Ocean School programs.
