What a life-changing day today as we concluded our final afternoon of the sea challenge. I have thoroughly enjoyed this week, mastering many important nautical skills and creating lifelong connections. We began with the schooner olympics, where my team ultimately took the victory. We then had our final dinner for the day, as we prepared for the swizzle exhibition in the evening. We had a big journey to Gloucester, which ended with a nice refreshing swim just outside the city centre. - Reuben

Today was a very fun day when we left Provincetown we saw and heard a lot of seals on the beach. We sailed all the way to Gloucester and we did schooner olympics and my team lost 🙁 but its ok cause were preparing for swizzle and I’m gonna sing California girls with Bella, Remick, and Reuben it’s gonna be great. I'm sad we leave tomorrow but we all had such a great time and did a ton of fun things. But I'm also excited to go home and see my dogs and mom and dad. - Naomianna

A nice final day up and at ‘em at 0630, sailing from P-town harbor to Gloucester. Beautiful weather and fast sailing. While the sails were up, my group went out on the headrig which was really cool. After arriving in Gloucester, we took a nice refreshing dip in the water. Then after swimming we had a yummy taco dinner. Awesome last day :) - Josh

The Final Day On The Denis Sullivan

We woke up bright and early and immediately hoisted our anchor and set sail for Gloucester, our final stop. Your’s truly gave the calls for setting the sail after proving my proficiency in the topic. After much sailing and an admirable time on the bowsprit, Autumn taught a lesson on celestial navigation. I slept like a rock during that to rest for the Schooner olympics.

During the Schooner Olympics, my team, Z team, started fierce on the knots and quickly gained a lead on the competition, however, Yours truly forgot how to tie a clove hitch and failed my team. I take full responsibility for the tragic placing of the Z team.

Once we anchored in Gloucester, we swam for over an hour and our fresh water pump started working again. We had our last supper which was a supply of tacos and salsa, a beautiful ending to a perfect day.

- Mikhail
