Summer Ambassador Program (Day 1)

We were all feeling nervous, excited, anxious, and curious as we walked onto the dock. We had the opportunity to take a swimming test, but none of us were ambitious about swimming in the sea, and it was FREEZING cold. Once we got underway, we went through safety rules, and played games together. We threw chain to prep the anchor, and did chores like setting up and cleaning the dishes.

While we were waiting for people to take their swim test, we played a game to guess the order of randomly chosen nouns, which honestly made no sense. Dinner was really good, we had mac n cheese and green beans with chili flakes! Amelia LOADED hers with hot sauce and made it into a soup (In my defense it wasn’t hot enough- Amelia)(HOW- Margaree). Some people got seasick, but not many. OUR BUNKS AND TOILETS ARE SO SMALL OMGGGGGGGGG.

It’s a whole workout trying to flush the toilet, I felt like the men on the railroad who had to push up and down on a bar to move. We’re all looking forward to sleeping tonight!!! (The bathroom light isn’t short people friendly- Margaree) At the end of the day, we already feel like family! We were all laughing our heads off while writing this!!!
