Today we went to Provincetown where we went on a walk and then went to the beach for a swim . We played volleyball, read books, and rested. After dinner back on the ship, we are going to watch a movie and finish our turkheads. Today was super fun and tomorrow we're going to sail to Gloucester. - Anya

What a jolly yet challenging day today in Provence Town. We set anchor just outside the main harbour, going for a long walk along the shoreline. We visited ancient lighthouses and were greeted by some scenic views, even catching glimpses of seals on our adventure. Furthermore, we then spent some quality time swimming and playing football on the beach. The sun melted into the picturesque horizon creating warm shades of molten gold along the cotton candy pink skyline. The wistful breeze caressed my salty skin, as I sat in true harmony on the smooth sands, taking in the incredible Denis Sullivan’s beauty. Overall, my day was truly capped when we watched the film Ponyo which captivated and moved me profoundly. The raw emotion and beauty I experienced today cannot be fully put into words, but it can be summed in a word ;perfect. - Reuben

Hello, today we went to Province town. we took a very very very long walk on the beach from light house to light house we saw some seals and a tone of cool smoothed rocks and glass on the beach we got to sleep in since we didn't raise anchor or sail at all today so that was great and we packed lunch and ate at the light house then we went swimming but had to stop and couldn't swim off the boat because the seals were too close to us. Then we had the best dinner yet, shepherd's pie. The cook Anne is the best. She makes great food and makes cleaning the galley so easy by cleaning as she goes and helping us clean up after to. We had lots of fun singing sea shanties and playing games. I've made lots of cool friends and I'm sad it's almost over but I'll make the best of the last couple of days. - Naomianna

Today the crew let us sleep in which is good…not for me, I woke up two hours early. Once everyone got up we instantly had breakfast, and we went right into our morning chores which were sweeping and mopping the galley and the pilot house. Then from around 11:00-16:00 we were on land walking on the beach at Province town, we walked for about an hour which felt like an eternity because of the sand. Once we did our loop from lighthouse to lighthouse, we then sat by the beach waiting for the rest of the students to catch up so we could get a prep talk before we went swimming. Swimming lasted around an hour and a half until there was a seal headed towards us and we were told to get out of the water due to the possible aggression. Once we all got out it just sat there popping its head out every so often so just look at us and it was kind of cute. We then went back to the ship and got soaked by the waves slashing into us. We then had dinner and did more chores and we are looking forward to movie night tonight. - Liam

First day in P-town, really cool views of the sand dunes from the harbor that we are anchored in. Today we hiked down the beach looking over the atlantic ocean, from lighthouse to lighthouse, about 2 miles round trip. I enjoyed the hike because it was nice to walk and talk with my fellow students and to get to know them a little better. Following the walk, we went in the water, swimming around looking for crabs and playing soccer on the beach which was a great time. While in the water by myself, I was asked to leave the water because there was a large seal in the water. Delicious shepherd's pie on the menu for dinner and chill. - Josh
