Summer Ambassador Program (Day 7)

Malachi

the last full day on the boat and by far the calmest out of all of the other days we were motor salling and is the most emotienal day for many of us because we are leaving tomorrow at noon.

Amelia:

This whole trip has been really fun, and even with some rough patches, everybody made sure that everybody made up so we could continue the trip without an grudges. I enjoyed going to Province town, IT WAS SO FUNNNNNNNN! We got to wander around and buy whatever our hearts desired which I loved so much. Even though I miss my home, being on this boat felt like my second home which makes me sad that we’re leaving tomorrow morning. We went to the Isle of Shoals, then Rockport, then Provincetown, and finally back to boston. I loved doing schooner olympics and looking forward for swizzle tonight!! I will miss the times that we had night watch with a sweet treat as a reward, and getting to haul up our anchor. I miss everyone at home, but I probably won’t be able to see everyone on this boat ever again, which I really hope to see everyone again. UGH I MISS EVERYONE IM GETTING EMOTIONALLLLLLLLLLLLLL.

Bayli:

Today was a very good day, yet bittersweet because this was our last full day together. I thought that being dropped off to go to the boat would be the sad part, but it’s actually going to be leaving it. I’ve made some lifelong friends here and I’m sad that our time together will be ending. I’m excited to go home, but the boat has really started to feel like my home too. My group, B Watch, won at our olympics today for knowing how to do certain knots, knowing where certain parts of the boat are, and choreographing and singing a sea shanty. Tonight we have swizzle, which is like our talent show. I’m so excited to see my family and friends again. In the moments where I’ve been homesick, I’ve just remembered that all my family has been with me this whole time. I’ll see you all soon and tell you more!
