Aidan F:

Today was cool. We were introduced to the boat and saw the ship. We went aloft, letting us see the view. It was cool. We also got a tour of the ship, being able to see the different parts. It was cool. I also got seasick. It was not cool.

Ephraim R:

The ship was shaking a lot. We climbed the ship up high. Aiden got seasick. We put away our gear. We learned stuff about ropes like palming. We split into patrols and ate food. We toured the boat. It shook a lot again. Then Brayden got seasick. Then ate.

Brayden:

First of all i would like to clarify i did not get seasick. There is a lot of room in the bunk area, and the bathroom system is a lot different than it is at camp or home. We learned some drills and a lot of knots like the bowline and the figure eight knot. The waves shook the boat a lot and a few people got sick. Our watch was watch A and we had to wash and dry the dishes for lunch.

Ryker:

We got into our watches which was A, B, and C. We prepared lunch and cleaned up it. Everyone help with pulling the sail. I climbed up the shrouds. We learn the drills which was man overboard, fire, and abandoned ship. I also learned that the ship was a sail and a motor boat.

Mike and Patrick:

Our day started in Boston on a pleasant Sunday morning. Our troop was delighted to be met by a very knowledgeable crew. We went through introductions and assigned our party to three different groups (A, B, C). Our group was A (the best group). We excelled at all of our tasks, unlike some of the other groups. We helped the crew raise the sails and tie the lines. We learned a lot from the crew. We had lunch and group A cleaned up. The dishes were spotless and our crew leaders Nona and Armondo said we were amazing! We then learned how to do knots and then off to an enthralling safety meeting! We then had time to do some activities. We climbed the shrouds, buoyancy competition, and aced our knots test!! We then helped lower the sails, drop anchor, and then off to dinner! Dinner was delicious and now we are doing ships log! All in all the crew seems to be more impressed with our Group then the rest. I believe we add more flare to our sailing adventure.
