This morning we woke up an hour later than usual, which was nice and gave me more energy during the day. After we woke up, we ate a delicious breakfast of bread pudding. We then raised the anchor and went closer to Nantucket in order to make an easier landing there. We loaded up Frank and Howard, the small boats, and rode to land on them. In Nantucket, we first went to a supermarket where we bought candy and some drinks, before walking to a shuttle stop to take a shuttle to the Nantucket Life-saving Station museum. When the shuttle arrived, we boarded, but there were also a lot of other people on it. We ended up passing by the museum, and having to wait another 40 minutes while another shuttle came. When that shuttle arrived, it was already packed, so we had to squeeze into the back. We arrived at the museum and were greeted by a woman who taught us how people were saved from shipwrecks in the past. We also got a tour of the museum, and were given a lecture on shipwrecks by Tony, who worked there. After the museum, we took the shuttle back downtown in two groups, one which came later, and one which came sooner. The first group walked downtown, and when the second group arrived, we all went to an ice cream parlor. After eating our ice cream, we went back to the docks and once again took the small boats back. We ended the day with a great dinner of hotdogs, and we finally got to swim again!
