We woke up and Anne prepared Huevos Venches, with a fruit salad and it was very good. We then raised the anchor, the first mate said it was the best she had ever seen. We started our chores while we set sail to Salem. Watch B did deck wash with a big hose. First we learned how to coil and belay, then we were at the helm, then we had R and R. Then we had lunch and ate nachos and chili with cornbread. We made it to Salem and dropped our anchor and got ready to head to shore to the museum. We took the two small boats and then a nice group of water taxi drivers picked the rest of us up and brought us to the marina. It was then a 9 minute walk to the museum where we met up with everyone else and went into the Peabody Essex Museum. There were paintings of boats, a garden, bird exhibit, “powerful people” exhibit, glass exhibit, lots of sculptures and lots of other random paintings. Then we started walking back in the rain and got picked up by the same boat but with a new guy with a dog that was a black Portuguese water dog poodle looking thingy named Blue. We came back and showered using the hose, it was very cold and not fun. We dried off, got changed, and ate dinner. Dinner tonight was cheesy broccoli with white rice, and an everything salad. Then we had chores and that brings us to now.
