Madison woke us up today quietly. For breakfast we had eggs with sausage, potato, and casserole. We did chores, B watch did deck wash. We raised the anchor. We set sail afterwards and set the Main, Fore, and Stasil. We then went into rotations and B watch started with an active watch where we got stuck flaking the chain. Then we did lessons, we went over vocab for the whole part of the sail. During R&R we had to prepare for lunch. Lunch today was hotdogs and Hawaiian potato salad, it was pretty fire. Then we went into more rotations this time an hour long. B watch started with active watch again and Cal steered the boat, the rest of us learned and did boat and weather checks. Then we went to R&R and we brainstormed our watch flags and prepped for schooner olympics. Our last rotation was laying out on the head rig with harnesses, it was cool to be standing above the water. At some point during these rotations two guys threw us two lobsters which we tried before dinner. After rotations were over we lowered the sails and dropped anchor. We then got ready for free swim and showers. After showers it started to rain and then we split up into the pilot house and the galley. Arts and crafts in the pilot house and games in the galley. After that we took turns getting dinner in the galley and eating down there. Dinner tonight was Texmex casseroles and bowl burritos. It was pretty good. Now we are here doing chores.
